The Heart of Life.

Once upon a time...

 I ate a fortune cookie.
Inside this cookie was a fortune that read:

At the time, I had just been admitted to BYU- something I worked incredibly hard for all year. I had thought that it was a creepy coincidence, but now I think it was an awesome warning of cool stuff to come.  With my first semester here quickly approaching, I can't wait to start school! I swear I'm not crazy (:

But lately, I have realized and am SO grateful for my many many blessings! I feel like so many things have fallen into place lately, and some are things that I have wanted/prayed about for a long time.  Things that I have struggled to accept or have been weighing on my mind.  My life is far from perfect-- for example, I'm wayyy broke right now with no job-- but I know that certain trials are meant to test my faith and if I stay valiant and depend on God, things will work out the way they are supposed to.

There is so much good in life, it's all just a matter of finding it.  Sometimes you have to look harder, or you just have to stay positive that things will change, and they will.  It's all about taking each day at a time and having the faith that the blessings will come.  We are promised that-- if we work to be and to do our best every day and look after each other.

Life is good :)

"Pain throws your heart to the ground
Love turns the whole thing around
Fear is a friend who's misunderstood
But I know the heart of life is good"
