In the Presence of Greatness.

A week ago today I was at the Taylor Swift Concert in Salt Lake City with my cousin Becca --it was amazing and I loved every minute of it!  I was so excited to be there listening to one of my FAVORITE artists that I literally teared up when she started her first song... it was just kind of surreal.  We sang along to every song and it was just a ton of fun! I love that although the music is about relationships and more mature subjects, it's tasteful and heartfelt, and people of all ages were there enjoying it.  I definitely wasn't disappointed.

" It's when you're falling in love or falling out of love-- that's when you need music the most."
-T. Swift

This past Sunday I went back to Salt Lake, but this time for General Conference.   Being there and hearing from prophets of God that afternoon was even better than last Wednesday night.  The messages given that weekend were so inspired and just what I needed to hear.  As starstruck as I was by Taylor Swift, someone who I really respect,  there is nothing like being in the presence of the prophet.... even if you're sitting all the way in a balcony seat in the conference center.

The announcement of the new temples was also SO great! Especially the announcement of the second temple here in Provo!  This temple is definitely needed here and it'll be beautiful.

I love President Monson!

I'm just so grateful for these experiences.
